Our Story
Meadow & Co. was born from years spent on the other side of the design process: developing and building homes.
As our projects gained exposure, we began hearing from people across the country who loved the homes we were creating and wanted help bringing the same level of thought, warmth, and refinement into their own spaces. At the time, we simply did not have a way to help them.
We also kept hearing a familiar story from homeowners: beautiful designs that proved difficult to build, spaces that looked great on paper but did not function as intended, budgets that grew far beyond expectations, and decisions made without a clear understanding of their impact on construction.
We knew there was a better way...
Meadow & Co. was created to bridge the gap between design and execution. Our perspective is shaped by real experience building homes, managing budgets, solving problems in the field, and understanding how hundreds of individual decisions ultimately come together.
That experience influences everything we design. We care deeply about beauty, proportion, materiality, and the way a home feels, but we also understand that great design has to work. It has to be buildable, thoughtful, and grounded in the realities of the project.
What began as a way to help more people access the design perspective behind the homes we were already building has grown into Meadow & Co. : a design company founded on the belief that beautiful homes are even better when they are designed with an understanding of how they actually come together.

Design deserves an advocate through construction, not just on paper
We are not the design company that hands you a presentation and wishes you luck. Our ideal project begins at the project’s ideation, and we partner closely through installation of the last fixture.

Great design must work in the real world.
We will never deliver a design that can’t be achieved sensibly. We only create designs that hold up once construction starts, and do so by drawing on years of our own experience building homes.

Principal Designer / Co-Founder
Cortney Hodgdon
Cortney is the Principal Designer of Meadow & Co., where she leads the creative direction of the studio’s residential projects from initial concept through final execution. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, her work is rooted in interior architecture, thoughtful space planning, and a refined approach to materiality, proportion, and detail.
Cortney spent five years designing high-end residential interiors with RH Boston, where she developed extensive experience creating thoughtfully layered homes and working closely with clients to bring each space together with intention.
Her design philosophy is centered on creating interiors that feel elevated yet livable, timeless without feeling expected, and deeply considered down to the smallest detail. She approaches each project as a complete environment, balancing architecture, natural materials, custom elements, and the way a client truly lives to create homes that feel cohesive, personal, and distinctly their own.
Head of Operations / Co-Frounder
Logan Saris
Logan focuses on operations, strategy, and the systems that support Meadow & Co.'s continued growth. After beginning his career in consulting, Logan brought that experience to Meadow & Co., where he works across project planning, organizational strategy, and operational execution. His role helps ensure that the company’s projects are supported by the discipline and structure needed to deliver consistently at a high level.
Designer / Builder / Co-Founder
Michael Saris
Michael approaches residential design with an understanding of the entire home, from its architectural proportions and floor plan to its materials, finishes, and smallest details. His work at Meadow&Co. builds on his experience as a partner at Sunset Development Group, where he helps lead the creative direction and development of distinctive homes throughout Greater Boston.
Working across design and construction has shaped Michael’s belief that a successful interior begins with the space itself. He considers how rooms connect, how natural light moves through a home, and how thoughtful choices in materials and detailing can bring warmth and character to everyday living. His knowledge of the building process grounds his creative decisions in what can be executed beautifully and built to last.
At Meadow&Co., Michael works closely with clients, architects, and craftspeople to create a clear, cohesive vision for each home. His focus is on spaces that feel individual and inviting, with a lasting sense of quality that comes from getting the details right.
Junior Designer
Mina Park
Mina supports the design team across the creative and technical development of Meadow & Co.’s projects. She contributes to sourcing, specifications and material selections throughout the design process. With an attentive eye, Mina works closely with the team to develop each space, helping carry the studio’s vision forward while ensuring every detail feels intentional and connected to the overall design.
